Welcome to LTE TV.
It's time for another review show.
My name is Katie, and I hope you're ready to review with me today.
Last week we found out that Rob is going to take a business trip.
He will go to a seminar.
The hotel is near CNN's offices.
But do you know which city he will go to?
And Megan got to go to a concert.
She went to see Zoe perform.
And then we learned that Mark played in an orchestra.
Do you know which instrument he plays?
Listen carefully as we review last week's lessons.
(Music).
Hi, Carol.
You called me.
What do you need?
Come in, Rob.
Please sit down.
Can you take a quick trip next week?
Maybe. Where?
Can you go to Atlanta?
Atlanta! Why?
There is a good TV seminar in Atlanta.
You can go.
You can learn something.
OK!
I like to travel.
The seminar is next Thursday.
You can fly down next Wednesday.
When do I come back?
You can come back on Friday morning.
You must make a TV program on Friday afternoon.
I know. Did you buy a plane ticket for me?
Not yet.
Our travel agent can get one for you.
Where in Atlanta is the seminar?
Is it near the airport?
No. It's at the Omni Hotel.
That's near CNN's offices.
Great! Can I stay at the Omni?
Yes. The travel agent can get a room for you.
Do I need a car?
No. You can take the train.
It stops near the hotel.
How convenient!
Susie, did you hear?
I'm going to Atlanta next week.
Really! When do you leave?
I leave next Wednesday afternoon and come back on Friday morning.
That's a quick trip.
I know.
I'll be tired when I come back.
Hopefully you can get some sleep on the plane!
I will. I got my ticket this afternoon.
I leave Atlanta at 6 a.m. on Friday!
What's the topic of the seminar?
It's about the TV business.
CNN is hosting it.
That sounds interesting.
What will you learn?
I'll learn more about TV interviews.
Some very successful people will give us some tips.
Then I can do a better job on my show.
You already do a good job.
Thanks. But I can always improve!
So you're leaving a week from tomorrow.
That seems sudden.
Carol just heard about the seminar.
She didn't know about it until yesterday.
What if you have trouble with your flight next Friday?
I won't. I won't miss it or get delayed.
I hope not.
Because if you do, I'll have to do your Friday interview!
(Music).
Hi, Ken.
Hi, Mark.
Hi, Megan. Are you excited about something?
Yes! My favorite singer is in town!
That's great.
Who is your favorite singer?
Zoe. She's from New Orleans.
What kind of music does she sing?
She sings jazz.
I love her voice.
It's really pretty.
Is she doing a concert?
Yes! It's tonight in Union Park.
I have a ticket.
Fun! I have a ticket to a concert on Sunday.
Oh? What concert?
It's a rock concert.
The band Tune is playing.
Rock bands are loud.
But they sound great live.
Not to me. I like classical music concerts.
Do you play classical music?
Yes. I played in an orchestra in Taxes.
What instrument do you play?
I play the violin.
Can you join an orchestra here?
Yes. There is a city orchestra.
I can play the violin for them!
That's great!
When is their next cencert?
It's in December. You can all come!
Good morning, Susie. Good morning, Ken.
Good morning, Megan.
How was the concert last night?
It was great!
I really enjoyed it.
Where did you sit?
I sat in the back of the park.
That's far from the stage.
Was the music too soft?
No. It was perfect.
It wasn't too soft or too loud.
Did Zoe sing her new song?
Yes, she did.
The song sounded amazing!
I like Zoe. I love all her songs.
She writes all her songs.
Did you know that?
Yes. She's very talented.
Does she play any instruments?
Yes. She plays piano, guitar and violin.
Wow, she is very talented!
Yes. She often plays the piano when she sings!
Did she sing many songs from her new album?
Yes. She sang most of the songs from it.
Did you pay a lot of money for your ticket?
No. I only paid $15.
That's a great deal!
Yes, I was really lucky.
Maybe I can go to her concert next time!
Me, too.
Sure! We can all go together.
(Music).
Hello, everyone. Welcome to Let's Talk!
Do you like to go to concerts?
How do you buy your concert tickets?
Well, here to talk to us all about tickets is my guest for today, Mr. Tom
Ticket.
Welcome to the show, Mr. Ticket!
Thank you, Rob.
I love concerts and shows.
But sometimes I can't get a ticket!
Well, Rob, there are several ways to buy tickets.
Let's talk about them.
You can buy tickets at a box office.
Right. The box office is at the concert hall.
Yes.
And you can pay with cash or credit card.
Yes. Either is fine!
I sometimes buy tickets by phone.
That's a good way, too.
You can call the box office or the ticket company.
And many people buy tickets online.
Of course! That's the easiest way!
And the best way, I think.
I agree.
First, choose the show.
Second, select the number of tickets.
Then, choose where you want to sit.
Finally, pay!
Buy your tickets early.
Sometimes they sell out!

I think we all needed to review the conversations.
I hope you remembered my questions.
Duh, you ask a lot of questions, Katie!
Why do you do that?
Well, because I think it's important to learn.
You can learn a lot by answering questions.
So, are you ready for the first question?
I suppose.
But it'd better be good.
Don't worry, Chris. It is.
OK.
Rob is going to a seminar in Atlanta.
When does Rob leave and come back?
Woo... Tough question.
But I think I know the answer.
Rob will leave next Wednesday afternoon and come back Friday morning.
That's right, Chris. Good job.
But that is a very fast trip.
I hope he doesn't miss his flight.
Oh, yeah. Me, too.
But if he misses his flight, then Susie could do Rob's interview.
Well, I guess we will see what happens some other time.
OK. Next question. Are you ready?
Where did Megan sit at the concert?
I know! I know! I know!
Pick Me.
OK. OK. Tell me the answer, Chris.
Let's see if you are right.
She sat at the back of the park.
That's right!
And even though it was far from the stage, it wasn't hard for her to hear.
Right. Megan could still hear Zoe sing!
That's a relief.
Well, good job, Chris.
OK, friends, Chris and I are going to take a short break.
But we'll be rightback.
