A．be suited to (for) 适合做……，对……适宜。例如：

2) It is suited for my needs．那适合我的需要。
B．suit(用作及物动物)(衣服、型式等)与……相配，与……相称。例如：
The new dress suited her very much．那套新服装和她很相配。
2．You can point out that Florence Nightingale opened up nursing and that Madame Carie opened
up sciences to women．
open up开辟，开发，涌现出。例如：
1) The advance has opened up a whole new field of science．这种进步为科学开辟 了一个新的
