教材分析:
1、‘Playtime’选自Primary English For China第五册的第八课。即是对前面两个单元所
学句型…is wearing…涉及的现在进行时的综合运用,又是对下一个单元的铺垫,起承上
启下的作用。
2、本节课是第一课时,内容难度适宜。学生在前面两个单元已经对 “…be doing…”的句
型有所了解,所以把 B部分的“What’s … doing?”放到了 A部分一个课时里一起完成,
另外还做了适度扩充。
3、本课的学习内容包括:了解单词“kick, bounce, throw, catch(补充),掌握新单词
“football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis(补充)”等。能够较
熟练的运用句型 “ What’s…doing? He/She’s v.ing.” 和“ What are …doing?
They’re v.ing.”.
4.教学重难点:
本课时的教学重点是掌握句型 What’s …doing? He/She’s v.ing.。 难点是…be
doing 部分的主谓一致关系;培养学生在实际情景中运用对话的能力。
学情分析:
本节课的授课对象是三年级学生。这个阶段的学生注意力不稳定,不持久,难于长时间
地注意同一件事物,容易为一些新奇刺激所吸引。凡是生动、具体、形象的事物,形式新颖,
色彩鲜艳的对象,都比较容易引起学生的兴趣和吸引他们的注意。
教学建议
教学目标:
1、知识目标
(1)、能听、说单词:kick, bounce, throw, catch.
(2)、能听、说、认读单词 football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis.
(3)、使学生能运用: What’s … doing? He/She’s v.ing.和 What’re …doing? They’re ving.
2、能力目标
(1)、能运用句型:What do you like?Can you play …? Do you like …?询问对方,了解对方喜
爱的运动;
(2)、能掌握新授单词的正确发音;
(3)、能简单了解 football, basketball, volleyball三个单词的构词法。
3、情感目标:
(1)、让学生了解一些体育运动的知识;
(2)、使学生知道体育运动有益健康,激发学生向奥运健儿学习,为国争光的激情。
教学方法:
1、教法设计:
俗话说,教无定法,但以学生为中心,以学生的发展为本,应该成为教学的基本理念。
为了顺利完成以上教学目标,更好地突出重点,突破难点,按照学生的认知规律,本课教
学中我综合运用了任务型教学法,情景交际法,听说法,游戏法等,为教学创设情景,营
造和谐气氛。在教学中启发、诱导学生思考,激发学生的学习兴趣,进而促使他们由兴趣转
变成稳定的学习动机。让学生在完成任务的过程中体验、实践、参与、交流和合作,实现任务
目标,感受成功,最终实现掌握知识、培养技能的目的。
2、学法指导:
教学中学生个体活动、小组活动、全班活动交替进行,让学生在动、玩、乐的过程中主动
地学、快乐地学、轻松地学,变学生被动接受知识的过程为主动学习的过程。
3.教学手段:
小学阶段英语教学内容与学生的生活、学习环境紧密联系,我们要尽可能为学生学习语
言创造环境,课堂上利用图片,简笔画等配合自己的手势动作、表情等体态语言,利用CAI
课件等现代教学设备,利用游戏、歌曲、角色扮演等手段来实施教学,是英语教学变得生动
形象。

教学过程:
Step1 课前热身,激发兴趣
1. Greetings:
Hello, boys and girls. Good morning. Now it’s our playtime. Let’s stand up
and do some sports. Ok?
2. Let’s do:
T:Are you ready? Follow me.
Run, run , Let’s run/jump/swim/skate/dance/fly…
Step 2 巧设情景,引入新课
T: I like sports very much. Do you like sports? Our School sports day is coming.
What events are you in ? Do you know how to say it in English? Today, I will
show you something about sports.
Step 3 设置任务,教学新知
单词:
1.(课件)T:Look, what’s this? S; It’s a circle.
T: Now ,what’s this? S: It’s a ball.
T: Yes. It’s a ball.I can use my foot to kick the ball. Kick, kick ,kick the
ball. (课件) . So it’s a football. (板书:football简笔画) oo/u/football,
We use our feet to play football. (拿实物足球做踢球状 ).I can play
football.(板书 play)。 Can you play football? Today let’s have a
competition .This basket is for Miss Zhang and this basket is for
you. Who can get more balls. At last,let’s find who can take part in
our School Sports Day.((问学生 1)Can you play football?
S1:Yes, I can./No,I can’t.
T: Have a try, please.
S1:(学生做动作) I can play football.
T:师领读 football, football, I can play football.
2.(课件)T: Look, what’s this? Who knows?
Ss: It’s a basket.
T: Now what ball is it?
Ss: It’s a basketball.
T: Yes, it’s a basketball.(板书 basketball简笔画). We throw the ball into
the basket. So we call it basketball. (做拍球和投篮状) .I can play the
basketball .I can bounce the ball and throw it into the basket. So I
can play basketball. Can you play basketball? Who want to play
basketball with me.(找一个学生和老师表演,强调 bounce ,throw,catch.)
3.(课件)T: What ball is it? Do you know? (出示手击球的图片) We use our hands to
volley it when it falls down.(板书 volleyball简笔画)(用手朝上击球)I can
play volleyball. Can you play volleyball, too?(找一个同学和老师表演,
强调 volley.)
4.(课件) T: Is this a volleyball, too?
S: No, it isn’t.
T:What ball is it? It’s small. It’s orange or white.Sometimes we call it
‘Ping-pong ball’.(课件展示单词 Ping-pong ball) It’s our national ball.
We can play it on the table.(课件展示 table单词)
S: It’s a table tennis.
T: Yes, it’s a table tennis.(课件展示单词 table tennis,板书 table tennis简笔
画 .). (做打乒乓球状领读 )Table tennis, table tennis, I can play table
tennis. Can you play table tennis? Now, please play table tennis with
your deskmate.(学生同桌之间边做动作边说。)
5.(课件)T:Now please guess, Is it a table tennis?
Ss: No, it isn’t.
T: Please guess what ball it is?
Ss: Is it a football?...
T: (课件)oh, it’s a badminton. It is made of feather. (板书 badmiton)
badminton, badminton,I can play badminton.(做打羽毛球状 ) Who
can play badminton with me, too?(找学生和老师打羽毛球。)
6.(教师领读单词<声音节节高>和词组<升降调>)
7.T; Today we know five kinds of ball sports. Let’s use these words to make a
chant. Stand up, please. Let’s do it together.(师先示范说两种球类)

8.(活动手册 39 页练习题,Now please open your workbook. Turn to Page 39.
Write down the balls you can play.巡视,检查,拿学生的作业在幻灯下订正)
句型:
1.T: I can play basketball, but I’m not a basketball player. (课件姚明照片)Look
he is a basketball player, Who’s he?
Ss: He is Yao Ming.
T: Yao Ming is a basketball player. He is…and…(做动作 tall 和 strong提示学
生).
Ss: He is tall and strong. He can play basketball.
T:(出示另外一张姚明打球的图片 )Wow, Look, That’s Yao Ming.(板书 Look.
That’s Yao Ming.)
Ss: He’s playing basketball
T:(板书He’s 和 ing。教师领读句子)
2.(课件出示邓亚萍的照片打球的图片)Look. That’s Deng Yaping(板书邓亚萍)(邓亚
萍打球图片) What’s she doing?
S: She’s playing table tennis.
Step 4 互动操练,巩固知识
1.(教师走到走道中间,两手做看的动作,领着学生说句子。Look. That’s Yao Ming. He’s
playing basketball. Look.That’s Deng Yaping. He’s playing table tennis.)
2.(Let’s play a guessing game.做踢球动作说 When I’m playing football . You
may point to me and say “ Look. That’s Grace. She’s playing football.找学生到
台前做表演,老师站到走道里和其他同学一起手指着做动作的同学说句子 Look. That’s
xxx. He/She is playing …,及时给予表扬评价)
3.T: Today, we learned five new ball games. Ball games can make us strong.
What other sports can make us strong, too? Do you know? (老师做动作要学生说
名称 skating, running, dancing, swimming, jumping…)
Step 5 知识拓展,评价促学
1. 展示福娃图片 Do you know them? Who are they? They are the Five
Friendlies, the Olympic Mascot. Who knows their names? 贝贝,晶晶,欢欢,迎
迎,妮妮, put them together,北京欢迎你,Do you want to come with me to see
what they are doing? Let’s go.
(课件展示多张福娃在运动的图片,请同学看图回答问题,注意及时评价给球篮里放球。)
2.(呈现奥运健儿拼搏的图片,激发学生热情要象他们学习,热爱祖国,强壮身体,为祖国
增光。This year, at Beijing Olympic, our Olympic athletes gain 51 gold medals.
It’s in the first place. Bring honor to our motherland. We should love our
motherland like them and I hope you can also bring honor to our motherland
in the future. Exercise are good for our health. Let’s do more practice every
day .
3.总结今天是老师还是同学获胜,谁应该参加校运动会 .Let’s count .One, two…Who
can take part in School Sports Day.
Step5 Homework
1、完成workbook 上的配套练习。
2、写一份观察报告。
