Notes:
(1)if 放在句首时,只能作“如果”讲。
If当“是否”讲与 whether通用;
whether可放在句首或句中,而 if 只
能放在句中。
(2) 表示将来行为的条件句中,谓语动词
不
能用将来时。如不说 If it will be fine
tomorrow,we shall go there. 应该是 If it
is
fine tomorrow, we shall go there.
(3) If 与 weather当“是否”讲,均可引导宾语
从句,但 if 比 weather 通俗。 weather可
与 or not 连用,而 if 一般不可以与 or not
连用的。
