Summer is such a great time of the year.
The weather is nice and warm.
And sometimes school is out.
What does that mean?
It means there is no school.
Many children graduate from their schools in June.
Well, this weekend we learned that Rob's sister graduated from high school.
The Class of 2013.
Wow! That's exciting.
Later in the week, we learned that Megan wants to buy a bike.
She asked Ken where she can ride her bike.
Do you know some good places to ride a bike?
Ken and Susie both know.
Well, let's now go and review last week's lessons.
And then we'll talk about some questions.
Hey, Rob.
Did you have a good weekend?
My weekend was great!
My little sister graduated from high school on Saturday!
That's great! Good for her!
Yes. I'm so proud of my sister.
She is very smart.
Did you buy her a graduation gift?
Yes, I got her a watch.
That's a nice graduation gift!
Here's a picture from her graduation.
Nice. She looks very happy.
So one of her school colors is red?
Yes, her school colors are red and yellow.
And here's her senior picture.
Class of 2013!
I feel old.
Me, too!
That's a great picture.
I know. My sister is a lovely girl.
How big is your sister's high school?
It's very big.
More than 500 students graduated on Saturday.
Did many students speak at graduation?
Yes, they did.
My sister was one of them!
Her grades are the best in her class!
Wow, you are right.
Your sister is smart!
Yes, she really is!
Susie, did Rob tell you about his sister?
She graduated from high school last Saturday.
Yes! Rob told me.
He's a proud big brother.
His sister must be really smart.
She was the best student in her class.
Yes, she's going to a very good university next year.
Did you know my brother graduated last month?
From high school?
No! From college!
Congratulations to your brother!
Did you go to his graduation?
I did.
My whole family went!
We clapped a lot for my brother.
You are really proud of him.
Yes. My brother started college 30 years after he graduated from high school!
That's not easy!
No. That's really brave.
He was much older than most students.
Good for him!
Now he has a better job because of his degree.
What did your brother study?
He studied business.
That's great.
Did you give him a graduation gift?
Yes, I bought him a smartphone!
Wow, graduation gifts today are really good!
All I got was a dictionary!
Maybe you should go back to school so you can graduate again!
Hello, Ken. Do you own a bicycle?
Yes, I do, Megan. Why?
I want a bicycle.
Can you help me?
There are a lot of them on this website.
Sure.
Look at this bicycle. It's nice.
Wow! It's really expensive!
Good bicycles are expensive.
But biking is great exercise.
It's a lot of fun, too!
Where do most people ride?
Many people ride at Riverside Park.
Oh, right!
The park has special lanes just for bicycles.
My friend rides there sometimes.
I ride there, too.
What else does the park have?
Riverside Park also has tennis courts.
The courts are new, too.
I don't play tennis.
But that's cool!
Other parks offer great things, too.
Like what?
Union Park has a pool.
It's open during the summer.
Pools are fun!
I like them.
Many people do.
The pool is really crowded sometimes.
Yes! Many kids play at the pool.
They don't have school during the summer.
I remember summer vacations.
I miss them.
Me, too!
Hey, Ken, do you know Riverside Park very well?
Yes. I go there a lot. Why?
The weather is nice today.
I want to go to a park, and a lot of people like Riverside Park.
It is a nice park!
You can have a picnic there.
Or you can feed the ducks in the pond.
Hmm. I want to get some exercise.
Then play sports.
What sports do people play at Riverside Park?
They play all kinds of sports!
I play basketball there.
What other sports could I play?
Well, you could play softball or soccer.
But you need a lot of people to play those sports.
Yes, they are team sports.
Ask your friends to play!
My friends can't play today.
If you meet someone at the park, you can play Frisbee.
I could. Frisbee sounds fun.
You can also go running.
No thanks. I don't like running anymore.
What about biking?
I do love biking!
Megan bought a bicycle today.
Ask her to go with you.
Great idea! I will ask her!
And maybe I'll come, too!
(Music).

Excuse me!
Uh, hello.
Uh, don't forget about me, Jonathan.
Oh, I'm... I'm sorry, Chris.
I forgot that you are here in the Jungle Cafe on Saturdays.
But my name is just Nathan, remember?
So how are you today?
Oh, I am feeling fine. Thank you.
I am having a great day.
And I have big plans for this afternoon.
You have big plans?
What are they?

Rob gave his sister a watch.
You know, I got this watch from my uncle when I graduated, too.
That's a nice gift, don't you think?

I want a smartphone instead.
Well, at least you didn't get a dictionary like Ken.
OK, here is one more question for you, Chris.
