Hello, everyone. Welcome back.
Hey, Rob, I just thought of something.
What did you think of, Chris?
Well, we learned that both electric cars and gas cars have problems.
Right.
And Ken said that biking or walking is still best.
OK.
I don't agree.
Biking or walking is not the best.
It's not?
Then what is the best?
Flying is best!
I love flying.
I'm sure you do.
And here's something else you love.
Features?
That's right, features.
All right, friends, enjoy.
It's here.
Yes, friends, the E-Car 3000 is ready to buy and ready to drive.
What is the E-Car 3000?
It's an electric car that will change your life!
It's true.
Shh. Do you hear that?
You don't hear anything?
Great.
That's because the E-Car 3000 runs on electricity.
The electric car does not run on gas.
It runs on electricity.
Electricity is clean and it's quiet.
The E-Car 3000 runs for ten hours a day.
After that, you will need to recharge the car at a special E-Station.
Electricity is cheap and easy to use.
Of course, you can still walk or bike.
But driving is faster and fun, too.
Do you want to help the environment?
Then come in today and buy our E-Car 3000.
Drive safe.
Drive clean.
Drive the E-Car.

eREPORT.
Hi, everyone. This is Anna for eREPORT.
I just finished reading a great book.
Do you like to read books?
Some of my books I buy at a bookstore.
But other books I borrow.
Where do I borrow my books?
At the library, of course.
Come on! Let's go check out some books.
A library is a great place to find good books.
You can find many books there.
You can find books about history, cooking or animals.
Libraries have books about almost everything.
Librarians are people who work at a library.
When you need help, ask them.
To find a book in the library, look for a book's name on the computer.
The computer will tell you if the library has the book, and where it is.
At a library, you borrow books.
Some people like to read their books in the library.
Others can check them out and take them home.
You can do other things at the library.
Some students study at the library.
It's a nice, quiet place.
Libraries have computers.
People can use those computers to answer email or look for things on the
Internet.
Libraries also have magazines.
Some people come to the library to read magazines.
And libraries also have CDs and DVDs.
You can borrow those, too.
Libraries have special programs for children, too.
Each week, there is a storytime for kids.
The librarian reads books to the children.
The library is a great place for people young and old.
My girls love coming to the library.
We come to the library each week and borrow a lot of books.
When we're done, we return the library books and get new ones.
This is Anna for eREPORT from the library.
It really is a wonderful day.
The birds are singing.
Lovely weather.
Oh, I feel great!
Wendy, are you OK?
Did you hear about the radio station?
Yes. They need a new radio host.
Carl, they asked me to do it.
That's great!
It sounds like a terrific job.
Wow! You are so lucky.
But I'm nervous.
I don't like talking much.
And...
Well, if that's true...
I mean, when you don't know what...
I mean, if you're not sure what to...
Oh, what am I trying to say?
If you don't like talking, don't take the radio job.
Yes, that's it.
If you don't like talking, don't take the radio job.
That was a super sentence.
I am Super Sentence Man.
And the super sentence for today is:
If you don't like something, don't do something.
Carl, can you use the super sentence in another way?
Of course I can.
If you don't like animals, don't get a pet.
If you don't like animals, don't get a pet.
Very good.
What about you, Wendy?
If you don't like walking, don't move to that neighborhood.
If you don't like walking, don't move to a that neighborhood.
A super sentence.
Now what super sentence do you need to use with Wendy?
Wendy, if you don't like talking, don't take the radio job.
But if I don't, who will?
Someone who likes talking.
But who actually enjoys talking?
I don't know, Wendy.
But I... I'm going to help you find someone.
We just...
Hello, friends.
Well, I hope this week's lessons helped you to improve your English.
I also hope that you got some ideas on how to help the environment, and also how
to plan a good vacation.
Enjoy your beautiful Saturday.
And we'll see you next week right here on Let's Talk in English and LTE TV.
Take care, everyone. Bye-bye.
