Yes, it is. That's right, Gabe.
It is time for a Key Word...
Story.
Now this is the part of our show where we put all of today's key words into a...
Story.
Yes, a Key Word...
Story.
OK, Let's begin.
I will begin our story.
Toby is a professional baseball player.
He is friends with many other athletes.
Well, his best friend, Kyle, plays golf.
Uh, but Toby wants to be a baseball coach one day.
Yes. He likes the talent he sees in other baseball players.
And he wants to help them get better.
And maybe someday he will become the manager of a team.
But for now, he loves playing on a team.
Hey.
That's it.
Well, I think it was a good... a good Key Word...
Story.
Yes. And we know that you can make an even better Key Word...
Story.
OK. Now let's review today's lesson.
Hello, everyone. Welcome to Let's Talk!
Do you enjoy sports?
Do you ever dream about having a sports job?
Well, today's show is just for you.
Let's welcome our special guest, Mr. Sports.
Thanks for joining us today, Mr. Sports.
You're welcome, Rob.
I'm always excited to talk about sports.
Great.
A lot of young people are interested in sports.
Are there any jobs in sports?
Sure!
Kids with a lot of talent become pro athletes!
You're right.
Many kids dream of being paid to play a sport.
But not many become pros.
An athlete who knows a lot about a sport can become a coach or a team manager.
Do managers always work with pro athletes?
No, I don't.
Tell us about your job.
I'm a golf club manager.
I take care of everything at the club and on the course.
And I teach golf lessons!
I've always wanted to take golf lessons.
Would you like a golf lesson right now?
Sure. Thanks, Mr. Sports!
Many young people love sports.
Some dream of becoming pro athletes when they get older.
But for most young people, this is only a dream.
They don't have enough talent to get paid to play a sport.
But there are other sports jobs they can do.
Some athletes become coaches.
They help other athletes play the sport better.
Others become managers for sports teams.
Others become managers for golf courses or tennis clubs.
(Chinese).
Don't play with your toys at the table, dear.
But I love cars, Grandma.
One day I will be a famous race car driver.
That's my dream.
What do girls dream about, Grandma?
Oh, Trevor, you know girls.
Yeah... Wait. I do?
Well, all girls... No.
Many girls...
Mmhm.
Uh, girls dream about... They... They...
Oh. Oh, dear.
My words seem to be mixed up again.
Would you call Super Sentence Man for me?
Sure.
Super Sentence Man! Super Sentence Man!
Yes. Don't shout so loud, son.
I'm right here.
And I know the super sentence that your grandma needs.
Many something dream of doing something.
Like this:
Many girls dream of having the perfect wedding.
That's right.
Many girls dream of having the perfect wedding.
Really?
Yes, really.
Now Grandma, I'm sure that you can use this super sentence in your own way,
right?
Oh, sure.
This is fun.
Many kids dream of becoming movie stars.
Many kids dream of becoming movie stars.
Excellent!
What about you, Trevor?
Do you have one for me?
I think so.
Many of my friends dream of racing cars.
Many of my friends dream of racing cars.
Well, that's...
Except for Tim.
He wants to be a dinosaur.
Uh... Well, right. Good luck, Tim.
Now Grandma, what super sentence do you need to use with Trevor?
Oh. Many girls dream of having the perfect wedding.
A super sentence.
All together now.
A super sentence every day will make your English great.
Did you have the perfect wedding, Grandma?
Oh, no. We were very poor.
Oh.
But I married the perfect man.
Oh.
Now put your toys away and let's eat.
