Welcome back, everyone.
I'm Gabe.
And I'm Ginger.
And Ginger, are you feeling better?
A little.
Do you need any more medicine?
No, I don't need any more medicine.
Do you want another banana split?
Oh, no! I don't want another banana split.
Hmm, do you want to go on an exciting roller coaster?
No, I don't want to go on a roller coaster.
Well, do you just want to relax and watch some TV?
Good idea. I just want to relax.
I thought so.
Let's do that now.
Friends, wherever you are, sit back, relax, and enjoy the features.
Hello, friends.
I'm here with DJ Prince and the one and only Black Pearl.
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
We're here for a game of Sing and Say.
Sing and Say.
Uh huh.
How do we play?
Well...
When you hear me sing and say.
You try to sound the same.
Say these words again today.
That's how you play the game.
Uh huh.
Sing and Say.

Oh, I know how to do this so good.
(Music).
Hi, everyone. I'm Jim.
And I'm Tim. We're...
The Word Brothers.
We are similar.
But very different.
Yes, just like some English words.
Right. For example, plane, P-L-A-N-E.
And plain, P-L-A-I-N.
These two words sound similar.
But they are very different.
Have you ever been on a plane?
I have.
I love flying in planes.
But do we fly in a plane (P-L-A-N-E) or a plain (P-L-A-I-N)?
That's a good question.
Can you guess, friends?
If you guessed P-L-A-N-E, then you are right.
Yes. A plane, P-L-A-N-E, flies in the sky.
"Plane" is a short way to say "airplane." But what about the word "plain,"
P-L-A-I-N?
What does that mean?
Plain, P-L-A-I-N, means simple.
If something is plain, it doesn't have anything added to it.
Oh, yeah. You can eat plain ice cream.
Plain ice cream is ice cream without anything on it.
You can also eat plain pizza.
That's pizza that only has cheese and no other toppings.
You can also wear a plain shirt or a plain dress.
These are clothes with only one color.
Clothes that are only one color are plain, P-L-A-I-N.
Do you understand?
OK, friends, plain.
And plane.
Can you see the difference?
Good. Until next time, this is Jim.
And Tim saying...
Goodbye.
All right, friends.
