And we have some great key words for you to learn today about drawing.

Drawing is a fun hobby for many people.
What kinds of things do people draw?
They draw shapes, people, animals, scenery and more.
Some people can draw anything!
People can draw with a pen or a pencil.
They sometimes use colored pens or pencils too.
Then the picture has color.
Some people are very good at drawing.
They love art and are very artistic.
Drawing is a fun hobby for many people.
That is true.
Do you enjoy drawing?
Do you like to draw different shapes and colors and make beautiful pictures that
someone might call art?
Let's see if Gabe likes drawing.

Yeah, I... I do like drawing.

I'm not very good at drawing.

You can make things look so good, just like the real thing.

It is "drawing." Now drawing is an activity.

A shape is how something looks.
Those are different examples of shapes: circles, squares, triangles.

Now we also see the verb "draw" a lot in our Read It.
You can draw shapes, people, animals, scenery and more.
And of course, you can draw with a pen or a pencil, and you can make a picture.
Let's talk about this key word.
picture.
A picture is the name of what you are drawing.
When you draw a flower, then that flower is a picture.
You might have a picture on a piece of paper.
What kinds of pictures can you draw?
I like to draw pictures of people.
But of course, they're not very good.
They don't really look like pictures of people.
Um... But yeah, different people like to draw pictures of different things.
And you can take a picture and put it on your wall.
It will look nice on your wall.
Now when you say this word "picture," be sure to pronounce the C.

That has a different meaning.

I like to draw with many different colors.

A picture or a drawing is a piece of art.
And if you like art, I suggest visiting an art museum.
You can see art from lots of different famous painters and famous people.
They put art in an art museum.
