If you have learned biology, you will know it is a subject studying living things, from the smallest life constituent to plants and animals. Simply speaking, the meaning of diversity is various kinds. Biological diversity contains all the resource in the nature including plants，animals, worms, microbes and the ecologic system, as well as the important basic for life – chromosome, gene, and DNA. You are also a part of biological diversity which makes life on the planet. Without biological diversity, you can not live on this planet either. Even if you can stay, you won’t feel the green from forests, the blue from the sea, even the air you breath, the food and water you have. Some reasons for losing biological diversity Increasing demands for food, energy and other resource. Human are ignorant and cold-blooded to the problem about sight-shorted, without considering the long-time inflrence. The pollution about air, water and soil. Lacking the ability of identifying the economic profit. Fail to preventing excessive use of resource and proper management. The increase of emigrant, traveling and international trade. Tell other people about knowledge on biological diversity and what has happened. 3. Eat local species (fruits, vegetables and animals) and understand what is local rare species. 4. Buy organic and ecologic production. 5. Ride bicycles and encourage other people to ride bicycle. 6. Don’t pour poisonous things such as paint or petrol into drain. Similarly, use batteries which can be charges as much as you can. 7. Try your best to recycle. 8. Travel by public conveyance whenever you can. 9. Plant and protect local trees.
