You know, Gabe, I enjoy telling a good story, especially if it's a Key Word...
Story.
Yes, a Key Word...
Story.
And it is time for a Key Word...
Story.
And I will begin today's story.
You will have all of the key words in the story, OK?
Here we go.
Bob lives in a castle in Germany.
But he dreams of going to Africa one day.
He would like to play with wild animals, even though that's dangerous.
He can't take his sister anywhere.
She's dangerous too.
As he is dreaming, he wakes up because there's a visitor at the door.
It's a lion from Africa here for his sister.
What? Well, that's a scary story!
Oh. I know.
I'm sure you can come up with something better, friends.
No, no, no... It was a good Key Word...
Story.
Yes. And I'm sure that all of you can make an even better story.
Just think of a story that has all of our key words in it.
Now we will see our key words in our conversations.
Did you hear that Lily is going to Beijing?
I did. She'll have a great time.
I'd love to travel abroad.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Where do I dream of traveling?
Africa!
So you can see wild animals, like elephants?
Yes. And I'd like to visit Egypt and see the pyramids too!
Did you hear that Lily is going to Beijing?
Did you hear...?
Now if you heard something and you want to tell other people about it, you can
share the news in this way.
Did you hear that Stacy is having a baby?
Did you hear that there's a holiday on Friday?
Did you hear that we have a big test next week?
Did you hear that my friend is coming to visit?
Use this phrase next time you have some news to share.
Well, we found out that Carol dreams of traveling.
She'd like to visit Egypt and see the pyramids there.
Now when you share about a place that you would like to travel to, you can also
share why.
I'd like to visit Egypt and see the pyramids there.
I'd like to visit China and climb the Great Wall.
I'd like to visit Germany and see the cars they make there.
What about you?
How would you answer that phrase?
I'd like to visit... and because...
We have more to learn.
Let's continue with conversation B.
If I could go anywhere in the world, I'd go to Europe.
Why?
I love the culture there.
I could stay in a castle!
Lots of people go to Europe, don't they?
Yes. France and Spain have more visitors than any other country in the world.
Wow, those countries must be crowded.
Yes. But that's OK. I'd never be alone!
OK. Is that true?
Carol says those countries must be crowded.
So if a country is crowded, that means there are lots of people everywhere.
Rob says, "That's OK. I'd never be alone!" If you're never alone, that means you
have people around you all the time.
But maybe you can still feel lonely.
If you don't know how to talk to other people,
if you don't think anybody understands you because they speak a different
language, maybe you feel lonely.
So you would never be alone.
But you might still feel lonely.
So friends, make sure when you want to travel to a different country, plan
ahead.
Maybe think about going to a country where another friend is, or going with some
people.
That way, you won't be lonely.
But of course, I'm sure that you will enjoy anywhere you travel.
Anywhere, that is another key word.
Be sure to use that today.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Right now it's time for us to continue by reviewing our lesson.
Lots of people dream of traveling abroad.
Some want to go to Europe to see castles, palaces and famous art museums.
France and Spain have more visitors each year than any other country.
Others dream of traveling to Africa.
They want to see the pyramids in Egypt.
Or they want to go on a safari and see wild animals like elephants, lions and
giraffes.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Here are your Answer It questions.
Number one.

Where does Carol dream of traveling?
We found this in today's lesson.
I know the answer.
Right? You can answer it?
I know it.
OK, the answer was in Conversation A.
She dreams of traveling to Africa.
Hey, good job, Gabe.
Now do you have another question for us?
I do. Here's question number two.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Andrea, what's your answer?
Oh. Wow, this is a great question.
I would like to go to many places around the world.
But I will say I would like to go to New Zealand.
I've heard New Zealand is a beautiful country.
It's smaller, so I could travel around.
And at the very south of New Zealand, at the end of the country, I can see
penguins.
Oh, my. Andrea, that is a great dream to have, going to New Zealand one day.
Well friends, what's your answer to this question?
We want to thank you for joining us here today.
And of course, we'll see you next time right here on...
Let's Talk in English. Bye-bye.
