Many people buy fruit at supermarkets.
Each week, supermarkets have ads.
The ads tell about sale items.
Some fruits and vegetables are always on sale.
Some people only buy their favorite fruits.
Others read the ads.
They buy fruit on sale.
Then they can save money.
It is good to save money.
And if you want to go to the supermarket, try to save money.
Now today we are talking about a fruit sale.

Andrea, do you also like any of the fruits that are listed here in the lesson?
Actually, I like all of the fruits that are listed in the lesson.
I like grapes, and apples, bananas, oranges and Asian pears.
Our Read It tells us that many people like these fruits.
Many people like grapes and apples.
Well, I do too.
And we have some key words to talk about here.
The first one is "grape." A grape is a kind of fruit.
It's very little.
It can be purple or green.
Yeah, those are the two main colors of grapes.
Yes. Grapes are delicious.
They are very good to eat.
They're small. You can eat them easily.
But you can also use grapes to make other things.
Have you ever had grape juice?
Grape juice is delicious.
And of course, you use grapes to make grape juice.
That's right, grape juice and wine.
You can use grapes to make different things.
And you can use other fruits as well.
You can have orange juice too... orange juice as well.
Yes. Orange juice is good.
And you can also eat oranges.
"Orange" is a key word.
Now what color is an orange?
Um Andrea, it's really easy.
Um, oranges are orange.
You got it.
Well actually, most oranges are orange.
But sometimes you can find some that are green on the outside.
But inside they are orange.
An orange is a delicious fruit.
Many people eat oranges for breakfast.
Or like Gabe said, they drink orange juice.
Well, have you ever tried pears?
