Well, that's something that someone says about a movie or writes about a movie.
They talk about it.
And today we're going to learn some new key words that have to do with movies.

Millions of people go to the movies every day.
How do they decide what to see?
Some people really like certain actors or actresses.
So they go to movies starring their favorite actors.
Some people read about movies.
If a movie's plot sounds good, they go see it.
Other people read movie reviews.
If a movie reviewer praises a movie, they go see it.
If the reviewer doesn't, they may stay home.
Well, how can we decide which movies we should watch?
Some movie reviews can help.
They can help us decide.
"Decide" is one of our key words.
This means you choose to do something.
You decide to do something.
Which movie should we watch?
What will we decide?
Well, you decide things every day.
I decided what I ate today for breakfast.
I decided what clothes I would wear.
I decided if I should walk to work or take a bus.
Think about different things that you decide every day.
Deciding is not always easy.
No. That's right.
Well, we can decide many things.
Do you remember learning about being positive or negative, or having a good
attitude?
I think having a good attitude is something that we can decide.
Well, if you are deciding which movie to watch, maybe something you think about
is which actor or actress is in that movie.
These are two key words.
An actor is someone who acts in a movie.
An actress is a girl or woman who acts in a movie.
And an actor is a man who acts in a movie.
So there are many different kinds of actors and actresses.
And some of you might have a favorite actor or actress.
I have a favorite actress.
Her name is Kate Winslet.
And I like to see many of her movies.
Oh, I know why you like Kate Winslet.
You kind of look like Kate Winslet, Andrea.
Oh! No. Really?
Yeah, yeah. You look like your favorite actress.
That is... that is very, very sweet.
Wow, you're really praising me with that... with what you just said.
Well hey, yeah, it's good to praise people.
And "praise" is also a key word.
Friends, when you praise someone, that means you are saying something nice about
that person.
And if you praise a movie, you're saying good things about the movie.
This word can also be a noun, if you have praise for someone.
So it can be a verb or a noun.
And after you go and see a movie, you can praise the movie, and maybe others
will decide to go and see that movie.
You can tell people who stars in the movie.
This is also a key word.
When an actor or actress stars in a movie, that means they have a big part in
that movie.
I like to watch movies that star my favorite actors.
I like it when my favorite actors or actresses star in a movie.
And another key word we have today is "sound." Now if something sounds good,
that means it's interesting, or you are interested in doing it.
If it sounds good, you might do it.
This movie sounds good.
Let's go and watch it.
