(Music).
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back.
Now it's time for us to review this week's fun features.
Ladies and gentlemen, please have a seat.
I hope you enjoy the show and the beat...
Whoa, whoa, whoa, Ginger, are you still listening to music?
Yes, I'm listening to rap music.
Wait, wait, wait. It sounds like words from this week's It's a Rap!
Like those words "please have a seat," but what do they mean?
You say that to someone if you want them to sit down and be comfortable.
Sit down and get comfortable.
Please sit down, or have a seat.
Well, please have a seat now.
Please have a seat now.
Uh, don't go anywhere.
Don't go anywhere.
OK, why do you keep repeating what I said?
Why do you keep repeating what I said?
Monkey say ha-ha, monkey do ha-ha.
Very funny.
Well friends, when you repeat something, you say it again.
When you repeat something, you say it again.
Thank you, Ginger, for helping me teach the word - repeat.
Thank you for helping me...
All right, all right, OK. Now please have a seat, grab a snack and get
comfortable.
And let's enjoy It's a Rap!
All right, all right. Now please have a seat, grab a snack, get comfortable.
Let's repeat, repeat, have a seat...
OK, here we go. Here we go.
Yo, yo, yo. You will see a word.
Think of some other words that rhyme with that word and make a rap.
And the word for today is: beat.
What rhymes with "beat"?
Well, we've got "sheet" and "repeat" and...
Uh, yes?
Seat.
Seat! All right, Angus and Duck, please give me a beat.
Ladies and gentlemen, please have a seat.
I hope you enjoy the show and the beat.
We're doing music with no music sheet.
And if it's good enough, we will repeat.
Let's repeat that.
A little faster now.
Here we go.
Ladies and gentlemen, please have a seat.
I hope you enjoy the show and the beat.
We're doing music with no music sheet.
And if it's good enough, we will repeat.
All right.
Well, we're not going to repeat that.
Thank you, Angus and Duck.
It's a Rap!
I'm sorry I'm late.
It's OK. I'm glad you're here.
This cafe has delicious tea.
It does. Many people like to drink tea.
This cafe is very popular.
My favorite is the green tea.
There are so many different kinds of tea.
Which one should I choose?
Try something new.
How about mango tea?

(Music).
Hi, everyone. I'm Jim.
And I'm Tim. We're...
The Word Brothers.
We are similar.
But very different.
Yes, just like some English words.
Right. For example, bear, B-E-A-R.
And bare, B-A-R-E.
These two words are similar.
But very different.
A bear, B-E-A-R, is a kind of animal.
Bears are big and strong.
Most bears live in the forest.
But you can also see bears at zoos.
One famous kind of bear is the panda bear.
Panda bears are black and white.
Panda bears come from China.
Now what does bare, B-A-R-E, mean?
Good question, Tim.
Bare, B-A-R-E, is an adjective.
It means empty or not covered by anything.
For example, if a tree doesn't have any leaves, we can say that the tree is
bare.
Yes.
If you are not wearing shoes or socks, and your feet are not covered, we say
that you have bare feet.
B-A-R-E, bare.
So friends, bear.
And bare.
Can you see the difference?
Good. Until next time, this is Jim.
And Tim saying...
Goodbye.
All right. Well, we always have a lot of fun here on Let's Talk in English.
Of course, there are ways to stay in touch too.
Open your magazine to the Bulletin Board page and find out how.
Well, I hope you have a great rest of your weekend.
I hope you can relax some.
And we'll see you next time right here on Let's Talk in English.
Goodbye.
