(Music).
Hi, everyone.
Welcome back.
It’s time to review.
Now I advise you to listen carefully and enjoy.
Here we go.
Hi, Emma!
Hey, Pam, are you ready for our bike ride?
Not yet, Jack!
But I will be when I get off work in twenty minutes.
Do you want to come with us, Emma?
Where are you going?
We’re going to ride into the country and visit my cousin’s farm.
No thanks.
But have fun!
Emma is busy.
She’s planning a trip.
A trip!
Where are you going, Emma?
To my niece’s wedding in Florida.
Fun!
How will you get there?
I’m not sure yet.
I’m still deciding.
I’d advise you to take the train.
I’m thinking about that.
The train would be fun.
It would.
You can see beautiful scenery and let someone else do the driving.
Can we look at train schedules online, Pam?
Sure.
Let’s see...
Here we are.
Train 322 departs St. Louis at 8:30 a.m. October twelveth and arrives in Chicago
at 2:14 p.m..
Then Train 30 leaves Chicago at 7:05 p.m. and arrives in Washington, D.C. at
1:30 p.m. the next day, October thirteenth.
Train 97 leaves Washington, D.C. at 7:30 p.m. and arrives in Jacksonville that
next day, October fourteenth at 9:30 a.m..
The fare is three hundred eight dollars.
I’d be on the train two nights.
But that would be fun!
You could get a roomette.
I could!
And the fare is good.
OK. I’ll take the train.
Hello.
Welcome back to the Information Desk.
(Chinese).
I don’t want to worry too much.
I’ll just let them do the thinking.
I just let them do the thinking.
OK. That’s all for today.
And I’ll see you tomorrow.
All right, everybody.
It’s Song Time.
(Music).
Calendar Phrase.
I’ll go by bus.
I’ll go by bus.
(Chinese).
Why are you waiting here?
I’m going to work.
I’ll go by bus.
Maybe you can walk.
No. I’ll go by bus.
Or maybe you can take a taxi.
No. I’ll go by bus.
Or maybe you can drive to work.
No. I’ll go by bus.
Was that your bus?
Yes!
I’ll go by bus.
I’ll go by bus.
(Chinese).
Well friends, it’s time for us to practice answering our Question of the Day.
Now here it is.
Would you rather ride the train or the bus?
Why?
Well, O’Hi is here today to help us answer that question.
Hello, O’Hi.
Hello, everybody.
So would you rather ride the train or the bus?
Well, first I like to ride the bus.
Then I like to ride the train.
And then I ride the bus again.
Oh, so you like the train and you like the bus.
Yeah, sure.
OK. Sounds good.
Well, I’d rather ride the train.
Usually the train is a little faster than the bus.
Now friends, what about you?
Take time to answer this question.
Then we’ll see you again tomorrow right here at The Mall because there’s always
more to learn.
See you then, everyone.
Goodbye.
Bye!
(Music).
