III. 教材分析 本单元是Module 4中的第二个单元,以自然界中的事物为主题,目的是让学生了
解自然,认识到自然和人类的密切关系。Read a story这部分的内容,旨在让学生通
过小水滴的经历,了解水循环。
IV. 学情分析 五年级的学生对大自然和我们生存的环境有一定的了解,对环境中面临的一些问
题有自己的观点和看法。经过四年级的英语学习,他们已经掌握一些基本语言来表
达、分享他们对大自然的认识和看法。但是对自然界中water这一物质的来源、循环
的过程中并不是很清楚,节约用水的意识并不强烈。因此,本课时的学习将以学生
为中心,以 water cycle为话题,设置学生感兴趣的语言实践任务,了解人和水的
密切作用。
V. 教学目标 1. 通过阅读故事《The journey of Little Water Drop》,帮助学生认识水循环的过程
2. 借助图片与关键词复述故事。

教学重点:1.掌握词汇 go up, fall down, shine, over,tree, ground,inside的音、义;
2.阅读故事 The journey of Little Water Drop, 简单了解水循环的过程
3.用所学词组描述水循环的过程。
教学难点:用所学知识描述水循环的过程。此任务不仅要求学生具备清晰的逻辑知
识,还需要学生有较强的表达能力,并且能用所学英语复述出来,具有一定的挑
战性。
