Affected by the covic-19 pandemic, the annual TV program Top Ten Figures Touching China
(2020) has not been broadcast. Please write an award speech for the Top Figure in your heart and make
a video clip of 2-3 minutes introducing his or her moving deeds.
受新冠肺炎疫情影响,2020感动中国十大人物评选尚未启动,请为你心中的感动人物准备

After this project, the students are expected to:

1. understand and use following words to talk about great figures and their life and achievements:
leading, figure, educate, breakthrough, support, brilliant, career, brief, graduate, earn one’s living … (语

2. know about the features of an award speech and try to write one (语言知识);
学科能力:
1. analyze the content of the text and summarize what qualities lead to great success (思维品质);
2. sharpen their cooperative skills during the group work (合作学习能力);
通用素养:
1. make use of all online resources accessible to themselves(信息素养);
2. make a public speech (演讲能力);
3. make a video clip (信息素养).
